Daniel A. Fierro has a keen eye for design, whether perfecting the art of wearable or livable fashion. His extensive knowledge and deft handling of sophisticated color, refined materials, luxurious fabrications and bespoke touches are just a few of the hallmarks of his and his firm’s designs.

In 2006 after a 28-year career in fashion, he founded Daniel Fierro Interior Design, which specializes in elegant, quietly sophisticated residences, both urban co-ops and country houses. The designer feels that the integration of architecture and interior design is at the core of the firm’s creative vision. Importantly, his designs fit his clients like couture fits the person, and he creates residences that truly reflect each homeowner. Their detailing and layering have a seamless spatial and aesthetic flow, and they are layered with all the intricacies that make a house a home. More importantly, comfort and functionality are never sacrificed for mere glamour.

After earning degrees in fine arts and art history from Pratt Institute, Daniel achieved a successful career in the women’s fashion industry as a luxury-clothing designer with such luminaries as Carolina Herrera, Bill Blass and Kenzo. At Saks Fifth Avenue and Worth New York, Daniel served as creative director and managed their design studios. The talents that Daniel developed and perfected while in the wearable fashion world have finely honed his focus on details and the unerring quality of form, and have made him the consummate interior designer.

Daniel Fierro Interior Design creates homes that reflect each client’s individual style and needs. Their services encompass all facets of interior design including architectural consulting and coordination, construction management, bespoke furniture, lighting and textile design, curating collections of furniture, art, decorative arts and antiques, and garden design.
